I Glamcult #142 - The ANIMA Issue
[Art Direction; Graphic Design, 2025]
Art direction and graphic design for Glamcult’s #142 issue. This includes a reworked version of the typeface Neue Haas Grotesk, which contrasts its strict nature with hand-drawn elements that reflect the tension between carnality and armour in this issue’s theme. This is utilised in all of the title pages and spine, as well as the underlining in the body texts of this issue. In addition, I also helped develop the editorial and typographic layouts used all throughout.

III Breaking Bad Habits — Publication Series
[Art Direction; Graphic Design; Photography; Workshop Production, 2023]
Breaking Bad Habits is a workshop with the purpose of trying to hinder the negative aspects of glow-up culture today. Each participant brought a personal object that they broke and implemented in the final sculpture, as well as a written prompt of their personal struggles and challenges. The process of breaking and forming a sculpture using these objects represents a transformative journey, symbolizing the transition from a state of vulnerability and brokenness to a collective creation that embodies resilience, unity, and beauty. This whole transformation was photographically documented and turned into small publications. The outside includes the symbolic transformation of each person’s object, while hidden underneath are their written personal struggles, in order to serve as mementos of strength.

IV Outer/Under — Publication
[Art Direction; Graphic Design, 2023]
Outer/Under is a fictional fashion magazine about intimacy. The publication is divided into two sections: Outer and Under. The Outer section is about our connection to underwear and the Under one deals with our perception of nudity and intimacy. The magazine utilises a Japanese folding where nude pictures are printed on the inside part of the pages. Looked under different types of light, the different types of skin tones from these images seep through on the outside part of the magazine. This creates a dynamic and ever-changing visual display that mirrors the complexity of human relationships and the nuances of intimacy and human connection. All articles are from Vogue magazine’s archive.

V Nxt Museum — Video Installation
[Art Direction; Motion Design; Spatial Design, 2025]
Spatial artwork for one of the rooms of Nxt Museum in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The duration of the artwork is 6 minutes but it is designed to loop infinitely. Inspired by 16th century Gothic clerestories, the artwork incorporates glass-like shapes that morph into each other, in order to create a kaleidoscopic effect. The purpose of the artwork is to be used as an immersive backdrop during commercial or social events organised in the museum.

Video installation, 6 min. long
VI Poems by Kids — Book
[Art Direction; Graphic Design, 2023]
Poems By Kids is a 400 page book made out of a dataset of poetry written by children and teens from grade one to twelve. Each child receives their own dedicated page with a generated signature created from their ID number, included in the original dataset. The signatures of each child from each grade are combined on a single page that serves as a section mark for each grade. All of them are stacked on top of each other, thus creating the design for the hard cover of the book. There are three types of paper incorporated in the book starting from more transparent and smooth to thicker and grainier. This transition symbolises the growth of the children in terms of grade and age, as well as the growth in maturity in the poems.

VII Wereldmuseum Leiden — In de ban van GOUD Exhibition
[Graphic Design; Digital Assets; Spatial Design, 2025]
In de ban van GOUD is an exhibition in the Wereldmuseum Leiden about the role of gold throughout time and culture. This was a project that I assisted on during my internship with Marline Bakker at Glamcult Studio. I helped develop the spatial design for the exhibition, specifically the floor planning, as well as wall design and text desciptions in certain rooms in the museum. In addition to that, I also helped with the development of the family route of the exhibition, as well as the digital assets used in the promotion and marketing of the exhibition.
